Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, calculated with the method your local masjid actually uses. Not a generic default. Pick your city below.
Tap any city for today's times.
Every country has a calculation method that its mainstream bodies rely on. Barakah uses the one that matches your city by default, which is why the times here line up with what local mosques announce. For the Gulf we use the Dubai / UAE Government method for the UAE and Umm al-Qura for Saudi. Egypt, Levant, Sudan and much of North Africa use the Egyptian General Authority method. Turkey follows Diyanet. Iran follows the Institute of Geophysics Tehran. South Asia uses the University of Islamic Sciences Karachi. South-east Asia follows the MUIS Singapore method. In North America the ISNA method is the standard, and in the UK and Ireland we default to the Moonsighting Committee.
Under the hood we use the adhan library, which is widely trusted, open source, and follows the same calculations as major Muslim apps.
Signed-in users can switch calculation method, add ±minute adjustments to line up with a specific local mosque, and turn on browser notifications before each prayer. None of this is required to read times, it just helps if you want the app to match your exact masjid.
