Duas for every day. The dua the Prophet ﷺ said most often
Anas (RA) said the supplication the Prophet ﷺ said most often was 'Rabbana atina fi-d-dunya hasanah'. A single dua that covers this life, the next, and the path in between. The right line for every day.
“Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or err. Our Lord, lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, burden us not with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against those who reject faith.”
Quran 2:286
The closing two verses of Surat al-Baqarah, whoever recites them at night, they suffice him.
“Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
Quran 3:173
What Ibrahim said when thrown into the fire, and what the believers said when an army was being marched against them. The knock that opens every locked door.
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, al-Hayyu-l-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fi-s-samawati wa ma fi-l-ard. Man dha-lladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih.
“Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what is behind them, and they grasp nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
Quran 2:255
Whoever recites this in the morning is protected from jinn until evening (Sunan an-Nasa'i al-Kubra 10735, hasan).
Qul a'udhu bi Rabbi-l-falaq. Min sharri ma khalaq. Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab. Wa min sharri-n-naffathati fi-l-'uqad. Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad.
“Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. From the evil of what He has created. From the evil of the darkening night as it descends. From the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots. And from the evil of the envier when he envies.”
Qul a'udhu bi Rabbi-n-nas. Maliki-n-nas. Ilahi-n-nas. Min sharri-l-waswasi-l-khannas. Alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri-n-nas. Mina-l-jinnati wa-n-nas.
“Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind. The King of mankind. The God of mankind. From the evil of the whispering one who withdraws. Who whispers in the breasts of mankind. From among the jinn and mankind.”
Rabbi a'udhu bika mina-l-kasali wa su'i-l-kibar. Rabbi a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fi-n-nar wa 'adhabin fi-l-qabr.
“We have entered the morning, and the dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what comes after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the wretchedness of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.”
“O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and Your promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for no one forgives sins except You.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 6306
The Prophet ﷺ said whoever recites this with conviction in the morning and dies that day before evening is of the people of paradise. Same at evening.
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namut, wa ilayka-n-nushur.
“O Allah, through You we enter the morning, through You we enter the evening, through You we live, through You we die, and to You is the resurrection.”
“Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He. In Him I have placed my trust, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
Sunan Abi Dawud 5081 (sahih)
Whoever says this seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening, Allah will suffice him for whatever matters him from the affairs of this world and the next.
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, al-Hayyu-l-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fi-s-samawati wa ma fi-l-ard. Man dha-lladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih. Quran 2:255
Reciting this at evening protects from jinn until morning.
Rabbi a'udhu bika mina-l-kasali wa su'i-l-kibar. Rabbi a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fi-n-nar wa 'adhabin fi-l-qabr.

“O Allah, through You we enter the evening, through You we enter the morning, through You we live, through You we die, and to You is the final return.”
“Glory to Allah, and all praise is His, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.”
