Sighting the new moon (Ramadan, new month)

Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
Transliteration

Allahumma ahillahu 'alayna bi-l-amni wa-l-iman, wa-s-salamati wa-l-islam. Rabbi wa rabbuka-llah.

Translation

O Allah, bring it over us with security and faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.

From the Sunnah

The second sentence is addressed to the crescent itself. Said at the start of every Hijri month, especially Ramadan.
