The Finder, who lacks nothing and from whom nothing goes missing.
Al-Waajid never searches, because nothing is ever lost to Him; never lacks, because all existence is His store. Whatever He wills, He finds at hand the instant He wills it. Poverty of means, the gap between wanting and having that defines creaturely life, has no meaning for Him.

From the Quran & Hadith
From the root waw-jim-dal (و ج د), which carries the classical Arabic connotations of finding, perceiving, and attaining; possessing wealth and lacking nothing; and reaching whatever is sought. Wujūd, existence itself, shares this root: to exist is to be findable, and Al-Waajid finds all that exists. Nothing He wills is ever missing from His grasp, and nothing that hides is hidden from His finding.
The Name behind every 'He found you'
The most tender use of this root in the Quran is aimed at the Prophet ﷺ, and through him at everyone lifted from a low place: 'Did He not find you an orphan and give you refuge? And He found you lost and guided you. And He found you poor and made you self-sufficient' (Quran 93:6-8). Al-Waajid finds people: in orphanhood, in wandering, in need, and His finding is never neutral observation; it is the beginning of rescue.
Rich in every attainment
The scholars, al-Ghazali among them, read this Name alongside wealth: the wājid is the opposite of the destitute. He possesses every perfection actually, not potentially; there is nothing He waits for, works toward, or hopes to acquire. Every treasure is present to Him now: 'And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories' (Quran 15:21). When He gives, He gives from a fullness that never dips.
Alam yajidka yatīman fa-āwā. Wa wajadaka ḍāllan fa-hadā. Wa wajadaka ʿā'ilan fa-aghnā.

Wa man yaʿmal sū'an aw yadhlim nafsahu thumma yastaghfiri-llāha yajidi-llāha Ghafūran Raḥīmā.
“And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”
Surah ad-Duha turns this Name into autobiography for everyone who was ever lost: He finds. He found His Messenger ﷺ orphaned, wandering, and poor, and answered each state; He found you in states you may prefer not to recall, and did not leave you in them. The one who feels unfound today, unseen in a crowd, mislaid by life, is already located; only the rescue's timing is pending. And the Quran hands out a beautiful promise built on the same verb: whoever sins, then seeks forgiveness, 'will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful' (4:110). Seek, and the finding is guaranteed, because the One sought was never absent. As for you, practice finding the unfound around you: the overlooked person in the room, the friend gone quiet. Finders are doing His kind of work.
Yā Wājid, lā tadaʿnā ḍāllīna wa-jbur faqranā bi-ghināk
O Finder, do not leave us astray, and mend our poverty with Your riches.
