The Absolute Truth
The Truth, the Real, whose being is the one self-standing fact.
Al-Haqq is true in His existence, true in His promise, true in His speech, true in His threat. Everything else is real only as long as He sustains it; He is real without condition. When all the constructed things collapse, what remains standing is what was always true.

From the Quran & Hadith
From the root ha-qaf-qaf (ح ق ق), which carries the classical Arabic connotations of being true, real, and right; being established, confirmed fact; and being due, deserved, and binding. Ḥaqq is truth with weight: reality that imposes rights. Al-Haqq is the Real whose existence is the one un-borrowed fact, from which every other reality rents its being.
The verse of the two claims
The Quran states the contrast as a law of reality: 'That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood' (Quran 22:62). Everything raised as a rival, idols then, and today's idols of wealth, status, ideology, self, is bāṭil: hollow at the core, punctured by time. Falsehood can be loud, funded, and popular; the one thing it cannot be is permanent. 'Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed falsehood is ever bound to depart' (Quran 17:81).
Truth returns rights
Because ḥaqq means both truth and right, Al-Haqq is also the One who restores every due. Every right suppressed in this world, of the orphan, the wronged, the silenced witness, exists as a standing claim before the Real, and the Day of Judgement is titled in the Quran 'the Day of the Reality' (Quran 78:39). Falsehood's victories are bookkeeping errors that will all be corrected.
Dhālika bi-anna-llāha huwa-l-ḥaqqu wa anna mā yadʿūna min dūnihi huwa-l-bāṭil.
“That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood.”
Wa qul jā'a-l-ḥaqqu wa zahaqa-l-bāṭil. Inna-l-bāṭila kāna zahūqā.
“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed falsehood is ever bound to depart.”
Wa yaʿlamūna anna-llāha huwa-l-Ḥaqqu-l-Mubīn.
“And they will know that Allah is the manifest Truth.”
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ would say in his night prayer: 'O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the Truth, Your promise is truth, the meeting with You is truth, Your word is truth, Paradise is truth, the Fire is truth, and the Hour is truth.'
We live in the age of constructed realities: feeds curated, images filtered, narratives manufactured by the hour. Anchoring in Al-Haqq is how a soul stays sane in it. One reality does not shift with algorithms or opinion polls, and measuring everything against it is the believer's compass: whatever agrees with the Real has a future; whatever contradicts Him is already departing, however loud its present. And let truth cost you something, because cheap truthfulness is not yet loyalty to this Name. Say the true word when it is unfashionable, correct the record against your own interest, and refuse the small daily falsehoods that grease a worldly life. The people of Al-Haqq are recognized less by slogans than by an old habit: their word and reality match.

O Allah, show us truth as truth and grant us to follow it, and show us falsehood as falsehood and grant us to avoid it.
