What Does Wa Iyyak Mean? Meaning and How to Reply
When to say it
Wa iyyak is how you answer when someone makes du'a for you with jazakallahu khayran. It means, and to you, in other words, may Allah reward you with good as well. The du'a comes back to the one who first made it.
Match the form to who you are speaking to. Wa iyyak (وَإِيَّاكَ) answers one man, wa iyyaki (وَإِيَّاكِ) answers one woman, and wa iyyakum (وَإِيَّاكُمْ) answers a group or shows extra respect.
If you want to say more, reply with a full du'a of your own, such as wa anta fa jazakallahu khayran, and you, may Allah reward you with good, or add barakallahu feek, may Allah bless you.
