What Does Barakallahu Feek Mean? Meaning and How to Reply
When to say it
This du'a asks Allah to put barakah, lasting divine blessing, into the person themselves, their health, their time, their family, their work. Use it to thank someone warmly, to congratulate them, or simply because you love them for the sake of Allah.
It fits almost everywhere a thank you or a compliment fits. Someone shares beneficial knowledge, barakallahu feek. Someone finishes memorising a surah, barakallahu feek. A host serves you generously, barakallahu feek.
Address forms: barakallahu feek (فِيكَ) to a man, feeki (فِيكِ) to a woman, feekum (فِيكُمْ) to a group.

The reply mirrors the du'a back. Wa feeki barakallah to a woman, wa feekum barakallah to a group. A simple wa feek, and in you too, is also common.
