Starting a journey (boarding)
Allah (SWT) is the greatest (×3). Glory to the One who has subjected this to us, we could never have done it ourselves; and surely to our Lord we are returning. O Allah (SWT), we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness, piety, and deeds You are pleased with. O Allah (SWT), make this journey easy for us and fold up its distance. O Allah (SWT), You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family left behind. O Allah (SWT), I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, from a distressing sight, and from an ill turn in wealth or family on my return.
Recite during the part of a journey described in the title and teaching note.
The Arabic and meaning are paired with Sahih Muslim 1342. No special promise or count is added without a cited basis.
