Al-Isra 17:36

Wala taqfu ma laysa laka bihiAAilmun inna assamAAa walbasara walfu-adakullu ola-ika kana AAanhu mas-oola

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.

Do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. The hearing, the sight, and the heart, about all of them you will be questioned.

Today's hadith · companionship
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 1944

Best companion, best neighbour

Khayru-l-ashabi inda-llahi khayruhum li-sahibih, wa khayru-l-jirani inda-llahi khayruhum li-jarih.

The best of companions in the sight of Allah is the one best to his companion, and the best of neighbours is the one best to his neighbour.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr.
