أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۢ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubbaAAin wallatheenamin qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeen
"Are they better or the people of Tubbaʿ and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals."
