An-Nahl 16:78

Wallahu akhrajakum min butooniommahatikum la taAAlamoona shay-an wajaAAala lakumuassamAAa wal-absara wal-af-idatalaAAallakum tashkuroon

And Allāh has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect] that perhaps you would be grateful.

Allah brought you out of the wombs of your mothers, not knowing a thing. He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, that you might be grateful.

Today's hadith · sadaqa
Sahih al-Bukhari 2989, Sahih Muslim 1009

Every small good is charity

Kullu sulama mina-n-nasi 'alayhi sadaqatun kulla yawmin tatlu'u fihi-sh-shams.

Every joint in the body owes a charity every day the sun rises: to reconcile two people is charity, to help someone mount is charity, a good word is charity, every step to prayer is charity, removing harm from the road is charity.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah.
