Today's verse · patience
An-Nahl 16:96

Ma AAindakum yanfadu wamaAAinda Allahi baqin walanajziyanna allatheenasabaroo ajrahum bi-ahsani ma kanooyaAAmaloon

Whatever you have will end, but what Allāh has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.

What is with you will end, and what is with Allah will remain. We will surely give those who were patient their reward.

Today's hadith · trials
Sahih al-Bukhari 5641, Sahih Muslim 2573

Nothing a believer is tried with is wasted

No fatigue, illness, worry, grief, harm or distress afflicts a Muslim, even to the pricking of a thorn, without Allah expiating some of his sins by it.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah.
