Today's verse · rest

Ash-Sharh 94:7

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ

Fa-itha faraghta fansab

So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].

When you are free, then labour. To your Lord, direct your longing. Rest is preparation, not finish.

Truth guides to goodness

إِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْبِرِّ، وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

Inna-s-sidqa yahdi ila-l-birr, wa inna-l-birra yahdi ila-l-jannah.

Truly truthfulness guides to righteousness, and righteousness guides to Paradise.
