Al-Hujurat 49:6

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin jaakum fasiqun binaba-in fatabayyanoo an tuseebooqawman bijahalatin fatusbihoo AAala mafaAAaltum nadimeen

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

O you who believe, if a transgressor comes to you with news, verify it, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become regretful.

Sunan at-Tirmidhi 149, Sunan Abi Dawud 393

Gabriel led the Prophet ﷺ in prayer

Ammani Jibrilu inda-l-bayti marratayn.

Jibreel led me in prayer at the House twice. He prayed Dhuhr the first time when the shadow was the length of a sandal-strap; Asr when the shadow of a thing was its length; Maghrib when the sun set; Isha when the twilight disappeared; and Fajr when fasting begins. The next day he led me in Dhuhr when a thing's shadow was its length; Asr when it was twice; Maghrib at the same time; Isha after a third of the night; Fajr when light spread. He said: between these two times is the prayer.

Narrated by Ibn Abbas.
