Wallatheena jahadoofeena lanahdiyannahum subulana wa-inna AllahalamaAAa almuhsineen

And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allāh is with the doers of good.

Those who strive for Us, We will surely guide them to Our paths. Indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.

Kindness to a thirsty dog

Bayna ma rajulun yamshi bi-tariq, ishtadda alayhi-l-atash, fa-wajada bi'ran fa-nazala fiha fa-shariba thumma kharaj, fa-idha kalbun yalhathu ya'kulu-th-thara mina-l-atash...

A man was walking along a road and became extremely thirsty. He found a well, climbed down, drank, and climbed out. He then saw a dog panting and licking the moist earth from thirst. The man said: This dog is as thirsty as I was. He climbed back down, filled his shoe with water, held it in his mouth as he climbed out, and gave the dog to drink. Allah was grateful and forgave him.
