Taha 20:44
فَقُولَا لَهُۥ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا لَّعَلَّهُۥ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ

Faqoola lahu qawlan layyinanlaAAallahu yatathakkaru aw yakhsha

And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allāh]."

Speak to him with gentle speech, that perhaps he may be reminded. Said to Musa about Pharaoh.

Fast the Day of Arafah

صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ

Siyamu yawmi 'Arafata ahtasibu 'ala-llahi an yukaffira-s-sanata-llati qablahu wa-s-sanata-llati ba'dah.

Fasting the Day of Arafah, I hope from Allah that it expiates the year before it and the year after.
