WayutAAimona attaAAamaAAala hubbihi miskeenan wayateeman waaseera

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

They give food, despite their love of it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive.

What stays with you

Yatba'u-l-mayyita thalathah, fa-yarji'u-thnani wa yabqa ma'ahu wahid, yatba'uhu ahluhu wa maluhu wa 'amaluh, fa-yarji'u ahluhu wa maluh, wa yabqa 'amaluh.

Three follow the dead person: two return and one stays with him. His family, his wealth and his deeds follow him; his family and his wealth return, and his deeds stay.

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik.
