Al-Hadid 57:23

Likayla ta/saw AAala mafatakum wala tafrahoo bima atakumwallahu la yuhibbu kulla mukhtalinfakhoor

In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allāh does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -

So that you do not grieve for what has eluded you, and not exult in what He has given you. Allah does not like every self-deluded boaster.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4799, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2002 (sahih)

Nothing heavier than good character

Ma min shay'in athqalu fi-l-mizani min husni-l-khuluq.

Nothing is heavier in the scales [on the Day of Judgement] than good character.

Narrated by Abu Darda'.
