Ahtaju ila al-Ma': Meaning, Pronunciation, and When to Use It
أَحْتَاجُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ
ahtaju ila al-ma'
I need water.
When to say it
Use this if you need drinking water or water for a practical need. For a softer request, say min fadlik afterward. If you only know one word, ma', water, will also be understood.
This is practical Modern Standard Arabic. Local speech changes from place to place, but this wording is respectful and widely understood.
