Qurbani explained
A sheep, goat, cow or camel is sacrificed after the Eid prayer on the tenth of Dhul Hijjah and the days after it. The meat is shared in thirds: the household, relatives and friends, and the poor. The Quran says neither the meat nor the blood reaches Allah, but the taqwa of the one who offers it.
