What does Dhul Hijjah mean?
The twelfth month, the month of Hajj, whose first ten days are the best days of the year.
Dhul Hijjah explained
No good deeds are better than those done in these ten days, the Prophet ﷺ said. The ninth is Arafah and the tenth is Eid al-Adha. Those intending qurbani do not cut hair or nails from the first of the month.
