How Do You Pronounce Nun (ن)?

The sound
The English n of noon and near. Tongue on the ridge, sound through the nose.
A single dot above a small bowl. In tajwid, nun with sukun and tanwin follow special merging and hiding rules, but that comes after the alphabet.
