عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ: إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ
Transliteration
'Ajaban li-amri-l-mu'min, inna amrahu kullahu khayr, wa laysa dhaka li-ahadin illa li-l-mu'min: in asabat-hu sarra'u shakara fa-kana khayran lah, wa in asabat-hu darra'u sabara fa-kana khayran lah.
Translation
How wonderful is the affair of the believer — everything about him is good, and that is for no one except the believer. If good comes, he is grateful — and that is good for him. If harm comes, he is patient — and that is good for him.
