Who is really bankrupt

Friday, July 6, 1962

Translation

Do you know who the bankrupt one is? They said: One who has neither money nor goods. He said: The bankrupt of my Ummah is one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakat, but he insulted this one, slandered that one, took the money of this one, spilled the blood of that one, and beat this one. So this one is given some of his good deeds, and that one is given some. When his good deeds run out before his debts, their sins are loaded onto him and he is thrown into the Fire.

One saying of the Prophet ﷺ a day.

Pair this with the daily verse, the 99 Names, and a few beads of dhikr. Small things, repeated, leave the deepest mark.
