Allah is pleased when you praise Him for a meal

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْأَكْلَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا، أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا
Transliteration

Inna-llaha la-yarda 'ani-l-'abdi an ya'kula-l-aklata fa-yahmadahu 'alayha, aw yashraba-sh-sharbata fa-yahmadahu 'alayha.

Translation

Allah is pleased with the servant who eats a meal and praises Him for it, or drinks a drink and praises Him for it.
