Al-Baqarah 2:271

In tubdoo assadaqatifaniAAimma hiya wa-in tukhfooha watu/toohaalfuqaraa fahuwa khayrun lakum wayukaffiru AAankum minsayyi-atikum wallahu bimataAAmaloona khabeer

If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allāh, of what you do, is [fully] Aware.

If you give charity openly it is good, but if you give it in secret and to the poor, that is better for you.

Ayat al-Kursi before sleep

Idha awayta ila firashika fa-qra' ayata-l-kursiyy, fa-innahu lan yazala alayka mina-llahi hafidh, wa la yaqrabaka shaytanun hatta tusbih.

When you go to your bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi. A guardian from Allah will be with you, and Satan will not come near you until morning.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah.
