Al-Baqarah 2:156

Allatheena itha asabat-hummuseebatun qaloo inna lillahi wa-innailayhi rajiAAoon

Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return."

Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. The sentence to keep on the tongue.

Sunan Ibn Majah 2045 (sahih)

Forgetting, mistakes, and coercion

Inna-llaha wada'a 'an ummati-l-khata'a wa-n-nisyana wa ma-stukrihu 'alayh.

Allah has lifted from my ummah what they do in error, what they forget, and what they are forced to do.

Narrated by Ibn Abbas.
