Sahih al-Bukhari explained
Al-Bukhari chose about seven thousand hadith from six hundred thousand he had gathered, praying two rak'ah before recording each one. With Sahih Muslim it forms the Sahihayn, the two Sahihs, whose agreed hadith are the strongest of all.
