How Do You Pronounce Dhal (ذ)?

The sound

The voiced th of this, that, and mother. Tongue between the teeth, with the voice switched on.

English has it, the work is keeping it apart from its neighbours. ذ is soft and voiced, ث (tha) is soft and voiceless, and ظ (Dhaa) is this same sound said heavy.

Dhal is one of the six letters (ا د ذ ر ز و) that never connect to the letter after them. It joins from the right only, so its initial form looks like its isolated form, and the letter following it starts fresh.
