طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
Transliteration

Talabu-l-'ilmi faridatun 'ala kulli muslim.

Translation

Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik·Sunan Ibn Majah 224 (sahih)
