The gate of generosity

مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالٌ قَطُّ مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ
Transliteration

Ma nafa'ani malun qatt ma nafa'ani malu Abi Bakr.

Translation

No wealth has ever benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr did.

Narrated by The Prophet ﷺ, about Abu Bakr·Sunan Ibn Majah 94 (hasan)
Reflection

Spent at the hour of greatest need, with no expectation of return. That's the wealth that is remembered.
