The best prayer after the fard

أَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ

Transliteration

Afdalu-s-salati ba'da-l-faridati salatu-l-layl.

Translation

The best prayer after the obligatory is the night prayer.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah·Sahih Muslim 1163
