Whoever deceives us is not of us

مَنْ غَشَّ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي
Transliteration

Man ghashsha fa-laysa minni.

Translation

Whoever deceives is not of me.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah·Sahih Muslim 102
Reflection

Said when the Prophet ﷺ noticed a grain seller had hidden wet grain at the bottom. He thrust his hand into the pile. The whole pile was suspect.
