الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ
Transliteration

Ad-du'a'u huwa-l-'ibadah.

Translation

Supplication is worship.

Narrated by Nu'man ibn Bashir·Sunan at-Tirmidhi 2969, Sunan Abi Dawud 1479 (sahih)
Reflection

Raising your hands isn't a side activity, it's the activity. Asking is worship of the One who has.
