Spread salam to spread love
Afshu-s-salama baynakum.
"By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something that, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread salam among yourselves."
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah. Sahih Muslim 54
A short reflection
A small word, said often, said to strangers, is the recipe for community. The Prophet ﷺ told us to spread it like a public good.
