Whoever resembles a people

مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ

Man tashabbaha bi-qawmin fa-huwa minhum.

"Whoever imitates a people becomes one of them."

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar. Sunan Abi Dawud 4031
