Fasting Ramadan with iman
مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ
Man sama Ramadana imanan wa-htisaban ghufira lahu ma taqaddama min dhanbih.
"Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins are forgiven."

A short reflection
Two conditions, not one. Iman, which is why we fast. Ihtisab, which is for whom. Both before the food is put away.
