Prayer to prayer, Friday to Friday
الصَّلَاةُ الْخَمْسُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا لَمْ تُغْشَ الْكَبَائِرُ
As-salatu-l-khamsu wa-l-jumu'atu ila-l-jumu'ati kaffaratun lima baynahunna ma lam tughsha-l-kaba'ir.
"The five prayers, and one Jumu'ah to the next, are an expiation for what comes between them, as long as major sins are avoided."

A short reflection
Each prayer washes what came before it. Keep the five and the weekly Jumu'ah, and stay clear of the major sins.
