The fast of Arafah
صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ
Siyamu yawmi 'Arafata ahtasibu 'ala-llahi an yukaffira-s-sanata-llati qablahu wa-s-sanata-llati ba'dah.
"Fasting the day of Arafah, I hope from Allah, expiates the year before it and the year after it."

One day on the calendar. Two years of accounting cleared. For those not standing on Arafat itself, this is the next best place to be.
