Every small good is charity

Kullu sulama mina-n-nasi 'alayhi sadaqatun kulla yawmin tatlu'u fihi-sh-shams.

"Every joint in the body owes a charity every day the sun rises: to reconcile two people is charity, to help someone mount is charity, a good word is charity, every step to prayer is charity, removing harm from the road is charity."

A short reflection

A sadaqa budget that requires no money. The currency is attention, effort, and a kind word.
