Do what you can
مَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ، وَمَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِهِ فَأْتُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
Ma nahaytukum 'anhu fa-jtanibuh, wa ma amartukum bihi fa-'tu minhu ma-stata'tum.
"What I have forbidden you from, avoid it. What I have commanded you, do as much of it as you can."

Avoid the haram totally. Do the good as much as you can. Two different thresholds.
