The day of Arafah
Ma min yawmin akthara min an yu'tiqa-llahu fihi 'abdan mina-n-nari min yawmi 'Arafah, wa innahu la-yadnu thumma yubahi bihimu-l-mala'ikata fa-yaqul: ma arada ha'ula'?
"There is no day on which Allah frees more servants from the Fire than the day of Arafah. He draws near, then speaks of them with pride to the angels and says: What do these people want?"
Narrated by Aisha. Sahih Muslim 1348
A short reflection
The mercy of Arafah reaches beyond the plain. Fast it if you are not on Hajj, make du'a, and ask to be among the freed.
