Beware of suspicion

إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ، فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ، وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا، وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا

Iyyakum wa-dh-dhann, fa-inna-dh-dhanna akdhabu-l-hadith, wa la tahassasu, wa la tajassasu.

"Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most untruthful of speech. Do not look for one another's faults, and do not spy on one another."

A short reflection

Most suspicion is a story we tell ourselves and then believe. Give the benefit of the doubt you would want for yourself.
