إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo assalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu inna AllahayafAAalu ma yureed

"Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allāh does what He intends."

The Reward of the Righteous

The mention of the misguided who are doomed is followed by mention of the righteous who are blessed. They are those who believe firmly in their hearts and confirm their faith by their actions, doing all kinds of righteous deeds and avoiding evil actions. Because of this, they will inherit dwellings in the lofty ranks of the gardens of Paradise. So Allah tells us that He sends those astray and guides these, and says:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

(Verily, Allah does what He wills.)

После упоминания о том, что люди, которые препираются относительно Аллаха, делятся на проповедников заблуждения и тех, кто слепо подражает им, Всевышний Аллах поведал о том, что люди, которых называют верующими, также делятся на две группы. К первой группе относятся люди, в сердца которых еще не проникла истинная вера, и о них речь шла выше. А ко второй группе относятся истинные верующие, которые подтверждают свою веру праведными деяниями. Всевышний поведал, что именно они войдут в Райские сады, в которых текут ручьи. Эти сады называются раем, потому что в них так много горниц, дворцов, деревьев и всевозможных растений, что они буквально скрывают их обитателей. Воистину, Аллах совершает все, что пожелает, и ничто не может помешать Ему исполнить задуманное. А это значит, что ничто не помешает Ему поместить праведников в Райские сады по Своей милости и Своему великодушию.

Commentary

(And among men there is one who worships Allah (standing) on the verge - 22:11.) Bukhari and Ibn Abi Haim have related from Sayyidna Ibn ` Abbas ؓ that when the Holy Prophet ﷺ migrated to Madinah, people flocked to him and accepted the new religion. But there were some among them whose conversion to Islam was far from being genuine, and whose sole motive for their action was to seek self-advancement, and they lacked conviction. If, after becoming Muslims, favorable circumstances resulted in an increase in their prosperity and their children, they thought Islam was a very good religion, but they were equally ready to condemn it if things went against their personal interests. This verse was revealed to describe such people who were mere opportunists and were easily swayed either way depending on where their selfish interests lay.
