humility

No one with arrogance enters Paradise

La yadkhulu-l-jannata man kana fi qalbihi mithqalu dharratin min kibr.

"No one will enter Paradise who has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart."

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. Sahih Muslim 91

A short reflection

Kibr is defined further in the same hadith: rejecting the truth and looking down on people. Both diseases, both fatal to the heart, both within reach to cure.
