The heart of the Qur'an
إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَلْبًا، وَقَلْبُ الْقُرْآنِ يس
Inna li-kulli shay'in qalban, wa qalbu-l-qur'ani Ya Sin.
"Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur'an is Ya Sin."
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik. Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2887 (attribution debated; widely cited)
A short reflection
The chapter many Muslim homes return to for the dying, the sick, and Friday nights. Read it slowly once — it breathes differently.
